BEST members vs Student

If you browsed to this page you probably have a pretty good idea of the activities we organise. Courses, Engineering Competitions, Training days.

An imporant question is: Do you need to be a BEST member to participate in this? The answer is NO!

Our activities are open to all students of KTH without a fee. There are no extra requirements. The only thing for you to do is to apply to BEST activities. Then what does it mean to be a BEST member? A BEST member is a student who decides to join the team organising all these activities. There is no fee for this either. If you join BEST, you will enter a group of motivated engineering students who want to get the most out of their KTH career. As a member of BEST you can:

Participate in our courses just as a normal KTH students

Help in organising the events of BEST Stockholm

Take part in various other events around Europe that are only open to BEST members, such as 2 weeks trainshops, Motivational events organised by other groups around Europe, etc.

Contribute to International BEST projects.

These are the opportunities you get if you become a BEST member, but we also expect our members to be active. This is described in the 'responsabilities'.
